Pace relies heavily on public input to make the new Pulse Milwaukee Line an enjoyable and efficient service that meets passenger needs. A comprehensive public involvement process helped inform and educate stakeholders about the new Pulse service. Pace encouraged public participation throughout the study and development process that made the Milwaukee Line a reality. Community input enabled Pace to offer the best possible service, launching August 11, 2019. A similarly transparent and collaborative process will occur with the next 23 planned Pulse lines.
Public involvement efforts include:
- Public meetings
- One-on-one meetings with business and community groups
- Corridor Advisory Group, comprised of select community stakeholders
- Online comment form
- Fact sheets
- Facebook page
Public involvement will be an ongoing process through the project development, engineering, and construction phases. Visit the Get Involved page to send in your comments, sign up for the mailing list, and learn about upcoming public meetings.
